The firewood can be stored anywhere you feel comfortable. Most people prefer to stack their firewood in their shed, backyard or even within their homes. Contrary to popular belief, firewood is not sensitive to elements such as rain or sunshine. In fact, they help dry out the firewood even more.
We recommend only bringing in the relevant quantities when needed to not clutter your fire area. It is also important to stack your firewood away from the foundation of your property and other combustible materials. Speak to our experts to learn more about where to store your firewood.

What is the variety of firewood?
This will vary from time to time, generally it will be a mix of Australian Hardwoods. Our Australian Mixed Firewood will always be similar to our Redgum Firewood in its burning quality and have a high heat output and long burning time. It is possible to be delivered only one type of wood rather than a mix, it depends what product is in stock.
Victorians have often grown up using Redgum, however we strongly urge you to try our Australian Mixed Hardwood. There's not much difference, except the price!

Often used in the smaller Victorian fireplaces or by pubs who don’t have time to split firewood. Perhaps you physically can’t lift bigger pieces? Then this is the product for you.
