Marcus Tatton Sculpture, Royal Botanical Gardens Tasmania

Marcus Tatton is an international award winning sculptor based in Tasmania. As part of the 10 days on the island festival in 2013, Marcus is conducting a solo exhibition at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

I saw Marcus making this and he was kind enough to stop and have a chat with me. The whole sculpture was going to take about three days. If you look closely you can see the wires Marcus has used to hold the sculpture up on an angle. He then uses a nail gun to join them together.

Very cool indeed!
