Sustainably Harvested Firewood
In Victoria, native forests are regenerated after timber harvesting to ensure the forest grows back. This is a key part of sustainable forest management. Replacing the older, harvested forest with a younger, growing forest ensures the maintenance of forest cover, biodiversity and habitat across the landscape.
Sustainable forest management supports a range of environmental, social, cultural and economic values. The aim is to manage forests in a way that maintains their biodiversity, carbon storage, productivity and regeneration capacity. It also makes forest regions healthier and more productive.
We work with one of the only truly renewable resources, one that is biodegradable and a recyclable product.
We are part of the solution, not the problem.
